Although the children were not present, Mrs. McGarry supplied photographs to the reporters present. She explained that Mr. Howard was out of the office and she missed speaking with the Press. She did confirm plans to visit Oklahoma during the upcoming recess with her family.

When asked if her husband approved of her actions, Mrs. McGarry replied "You'd have to ask him. I didn't discuss it with him. We only talked how I'm taking the boys to see the dinosaurs at the Smithsonian this afternoon"

She was also spotted at Mimi Maternity near the Capitol as well. When asked about what she was looking for, a fellow shopper stated that she was obviously shopping for a friend and not for herself.

Mr. Howard was not at his briefing this morning and the children were taken care of by the Second Lady's mother. It is reported that Bram and Amanda eloped last night. Perhaps something more than love was in the air to force Bram to marry a nanny?

First Lady Santos, who hasn't been seen in public since the shooting, looked drawn and thin. One has to wonder if President Santos is getting his wife help for whatever emotional problems she's obviously suffering from or if he's too busy for his wife and children, apart from the staged photographs with his children regularly released by Mr. Lyman. Mr Lyman has frequently been noted for his aggressive pursuit of his own legislative agenda. Following the election, Mr. Lyman was quoted as saying, "We won the election, so they can just sit down and shut up."

Second Lady McGarry, who's weight has been in constant flux, appeared to be significantly heavier than press pictures released in January. Given how often she prefers to be pregnant, one has to wonder if the Vice President is expecting yet another child. Surely this display of masculinity is questionable at best as the Vice President has made it clear he feels his children are a nuisance

The McGarry twins, Mickey and Tommy were both successfully treated today by Dr. Bradley Young who treated them with tympanostomy tubes. The twins recovered well and were brought home by their parents this afternoon. They are both feeling fine and are expected to recover normally.

A source inside the hospital reported that although Mrs. McGarry was quite upset over her twins' condition, Mr. McGarry spent his time reading the newspaper. One has to wonder how involved the Vice President is in the lives of his three small children. One has to only look at the way Mr. McGarry treated his first daughter, Mallory and her desperate cries for attention, to see how little he cares for his children. One would hope that the Second Lady is more committed to her children than the first Mrs. McGarry.

Sources inside the hospital report that the Congressman will undergo knee surgery tomorrow from an accident at home.

The Vice President was taken from the White House yesterday to Bethesda Medical Center via ambulance. There have been no official statements.

Annie Bartlet: Oh the pleasure is all mine, trust me. I like talking to people who want to actually find out a whole story instead of just assuming what they please and throwing it into a magazine. So thank you.

L: We’ve seen the pictures, you look great!
AB: Thanks! It was a lot of hard work, but using Jay (her new baby with husband James Sanders) as a weight really seemed to do the trick. [laughing]

L: What was your regimen?
AB: Well, there was a lot of weight lifting, a lot of bike riding, and a lot of swimming. It was really nice being home to do it all.

L: How is motherhood?
AB: It’s awesome. I just- I can’t say enough about it. He grows more and more every day and changes at the same rate. It’s almost hard to believe I had him almost four months ago. I love him more than life itself.

L: Would you like any more?
AB: Absolutely, but not any time soon. I’d like to enjoy Jay and let him get a little older before we go ahead and have another one. I’d love a big family even though I don’t have one myself, neither does Jamie, but whatever. I’d love a whole bunch of kids.

L: So, back to the photo shoot, what made you do it?
AB: Actually there’s going to be a few of them over the next few months and they’re going to show how photographers can take such drastically different pictures of the same subject. This one was really fun and hopefully the next ones will be as well. I love dressing up and I love photography, so this was an orgasm on a plate to me.

L: Or lack of dress.
AB: Yeah, I knew you were going to bring that up. [laughing] I was very comfortable with the whole thing. It wasn’t me being naked, it was art. My husband liked it a lot, and I have to say I did too. I’m friends with Bryan [Adams] so it was really neat. This particular shoot will be shown over the month of July. Different pictures each time with the same photographer, but they were all taken at the same time.

L: Do you like the blond hair?
AB: It’s something different.

L: Very different.
AB: Hair color can be changed like moods. If I don’t like it tomorrow, I can change it back to how it was or to a different color all together. I can do anything I want with it. This was something different and so far I’ve had a great time with the color.

L: Thank you for talking with us.

And with that it was over. The chance of a lifetime was finished and we felt satisfied with our performance. We did however decide not to ask about her relationship with Staci Chapman given the recentness of it. We’ll surely ask another time.
